Pitched Perfect makes networking and pitching your skills and experiences to others a bit less scary. It is a modification of your traditional speed networking event designed to help students perfect their pitches and interpersonal communication skills before the Career Fair and our many networking events begin. We strongly recommend students prepare by visiting the Business Communication Lab to practice their pitch or consult some of the online resources available to them, such as VMock.
If you’re a corporate or community volunteer or alum, this event is an easy way for you to make a meaningful impact on students’ professional development. All you have to do as a volunteer is be ready to converse with our students, listen to their pitch, and share your insights and feedback with them.
